Sixth place
in race 2
P6 at the flag for Ahmedabad Apex Racers. Not the podium, but inside the top six in an international FIA grid — in my second race of the championship.
Race 2 of round 1 is done, and I finished sixth. That is a result I can build on — and honestly a better starting point than I had dared hope for this early in the season.

What sixth actually means
Formula 4 is a one-make category. Everyone runs the same chassis, the same engine and the same tyres. There is no car to hide behind and no upgrade to buy. If you finish sixth, it is because you drove sixth.
That makes the result easier to read than in many other categories — both when it goes well and when it does not. Here it went well enough that I know the direction is right, and badly enough that I know exactly what to work on.
The grid
What strikes me most is the level around me. Many of the drivers in this field have raced single-seaters for several seasons already, on circuits they know inside out. I am still at the stage where every session hands me something completely new.
Finishing ahead of several of them tells me the gap is not as large as it felt the first time I sat in the car. That is the most important piece of information I take away from the weekend.
Next
The goal for the rest of the season is simple: finish every race, and move up the results sheet step by step. Three races per weekend means there is always another chance in the next session — but also that one mistake can cost points across several races in a row. That balance is what I am working on now.
